SynergyMed Devices Inc. is developing a new, non-invasive way to treat cancer that could significantly improve how patients experience care.
Their technology combines nanotechnology with electromagnetic ablation to target and eliminate tumors without the need for traditional invasive procedures. In many cases, the treatment can be completed in a single 10-minute outpatient session, with tumors eliminated in as little as three days.
By focusing only on the affected tissue and leaving surrounding healthy cells unharmed, the approach aims to reduce pain, minimize side effects, and allow patients to recover much faster than with surgery or radiation.
Beyond human medicine, the technology also has potential applications in veterinary oncology, opening the door to a large and growing global market.
SynergyMed is currently raising $1.2 million in Pre-Series A bridge funding to advance its technology and expand development efforts.
Investors can participate through the company’s Wefunder campaign, with investments starting at $500.
Note: The campaign is expected to close in April.
